At Wynnewood Public Schools, we are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees at athletics events. In light of recent incidents at schools across Oklahoma, we are implementing new security procedures for home football games. Effective immediately, the following security procedures will be enforced at all home football games: 1. Additional Staff: Games will have an increased presence of Wynnewood staff. 2. Additional Law Enforcement: Games will have additional law enforcement in uniform so that they are easily identifiable in a crowd. 3. Gates: Personnel will be stationed at each entrance at the event. 4. No Backpacks for kids: Students will not be allowed to enter the game with a backpack. 5. See Something, Say Something Campaign: Spectators are encouraged to speak out if they see or hear anything suspicious. Staff and security will be available nearby. Please know that these changes are not made lightly. The safety of our students, staff, and community remains our priority. Freshman Orientation Night Changes!

WHS BACK-TO-SCHOOL DATES - STARTING THIS WEEK!! Schedule Pick-up Seniors - Tuesday, August 1 - 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Juniors - Wednesday, August 2 - 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Sophomores - Thursday, August 3 - 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Freshman/New Student Orientation - Thursday, August 10 - 6:00 pm Open Enrollment/Schedule Pick-up - Monday, August 14 - 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Students who will be parking on campus when school returns will need to get a parking pass. They may do this at schedule pick-up. They will need to bring proof of insurance and their drivers license. Parking spots are assigned on a first come basis. First day of class is Wednesday, August 16! Students must have a paper enrollment form turned in or enrollment completed online to receive their schedule and to attend class! You are welcome to drop enrollment packets off anytime this week Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. Please call the office at 405.665.2045 with any questions!
