Meet at Fieldhouse at 6:30 am. Friday, Feb. 10: • HS Basketball at The Academy - Varsity Girls tip at 6:30 • HS Powerlifting at Bethel. Meet at Fieldhouse at 6:30 am. SAVAGE STRONG!!!

Based on Wynnewood Public Schools going virtual/remote learning on Friday, Feb. 3rd, the HS will NOT be able to attend the Little Axe Powerlifting Meet. The home HS basketball games vs Roff will be played as originally scheduled: • 5:00 - JV Boys • 5:45 - Homecoming Festivities • 6:30 - Varsity Boys • 8:00 - Varsity Girls As a reminder, there are HS basketball games vs Wayne Saturday night. It will also be Senior Night: • 5:45 - Senior Recognition • 6:30 - Varsity Girls • 8:00 - Varsity Boys Come on out and cheer on your SAVAGES!!!

As much as I’d like to, I can’t risk putting our busses and student drivers on the road tomorrow morning after all this freezes over tonight, not to mention our kids who will be walking on ice covered sidewalks and streets. This isn’t an easy decision, but it is the safe decision, so we will be closed tomorrow. It will be a virtual/remote learning day. School activities tomorrow are canceled until 12 noon. After that, all activities can resume as scheduled. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to inclement weather, Wynnewood HS Basketball games for Monday, January 30, 2023 have been cancelled.

Attention Parents!! Due to the roads becoming icy, we will be running buses at 10:30 am this morning. If your child drives or walks and you would like for them to leave before then, please call the high school office to check them out. If there is an issue with your child going home this morning, please let us know. The number to the high school office is 405.665.2045. You can also text me if that is quicker and easier for you. Due to the high probability of inclement weather on Tuesday, the following adjustments have been made to the basketball schedule: Monday’s MS/JH games will tentatively be moved to Tuesday, with the hopes the weather holds off. If they are cancelled Tuesday, every effort will be made to reschedule. Tuesday’s HS games will be moved to Monday night @ Wynnewood beginning at 6:30. There will be a JV boys game at 5:00 on Monday as well. **Monday night will be also be Senior Night. We will recognize our Seniors at 5:45** Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

**Attention Savage Basketball Fans** High School Games at Dibble on Friday 1/27/23 Dibble is having Homecoming, therefore the varsity boys will tip at 6:30 pm and the varsity girls will follow. There are NO JV games tomorrow night. Come out and support your Savages!!! GO SAVAGES!!!

**REMINDER FOR HS POWERLIFTING ON THURSDAY** **Schedule for Dibble Powerlifting Meet** Thursday, January 26: HS Boys and Girls - Arrive at Fieldhouse at 6:30 - Leave for Dibble at 7:00 - Meet Starts at 9:00 - Arrival back at Wynnewood is unknown. We will communicate when the meet is over and when we’re coming back to Wynnewood. - Powerlifting Meets last all day, athletes will need money for food and drink throughout the whole day.

WPS Update: Due to the inclement weather coming in Tuesday afternoon through early morning Wednesday, Wynnewood Public Schools will be going virtual both Tuesday and Wednesday. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing our kids back in class on Thursday. *The Stratford high school basketball games have been cancelled for Tuesday, January 24. *The JH Powerlifting Meet at Dibble on Wednesday, January 25 has been postponed.
