**Wynnewood 6/7 and JH Football** **Monday, Sept. 11 vs Davis** •6/7 Grade Football• - 3:30: players will report to Middle School, to get dressed. Food will be provided for players. - 4:10: bus leaves for Davis - 4:30: arrive at Davis - 5:30: Kickoff •JH Football• - 3:10: players released to go home - 4:30: players will report to stadium to get dressed. Food will be provided for players. - 5:10: bus leaves for Davis - 5:30: arrive at Davis - 7:00: Kickoff *6/7 Grade and JH football players are allowed to ride home with parents and must be checked out with a football coach prior to leaving.* GO SAVAGES!!!

**Reminder** **Football Update for Monday, September 4, 2023_Labor Day Holiday** Football Parents, Our first 6/7 grade and JH football game is Tuesday, September 5th at Wynnewood. Kickoff is at 5:30. It’s very important that our players are properly prepared for the games. Therefore, we will be having practice on Monday September 4th. It’s important that the players are at practice this day if at all possible. Please reach out to a coach if your child isn’t able to make it to practice. The practice schedule is as follows: 8:00: 6th/7th and 8th Grade Report For Practice • 6th/7th Grade report to Middle School • JH report to Football Field 10:00: High School Report to Stadium for Practice Thank you, Savage Football Staff Together…we are Savage Strong!!!

Couple of announcements regarding tonight's season opener against Valliant. #1 Tonight's game against Valliant will be live streamed on the Wynnewood Athletics YouTube Channel. We will post a link to the livestream closer to game time! This is the first game with our Football Hudl camera, so please bare with us in regards to any wrinkles or glitches we may experience. #2 If you purchased season passes, your name will be on a pass list at the entrances. 9/1/23 National HBCU Colors Day/College Colors Day. HS Football hosts Valliant, 7:30 PM, Savage Stadium

At Wynnewood Public Schools, we are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees at athletics events. In light of recent incidents at schools across Oklahoma, we are implementing new security procedures for home football games. Effective immediately, the following security procedures will be enforced at all home football games: 1. Additional Staff: Games will have an increased presence of Wynnewood staff. 2. Additional Law Enforcement: Games will have additional law enforcement in uniform so that they are easily identifiable in a crowd. 3. Gates: Personnel will be stationed at each entrance at the event. 4. No Backpacks for kids: Students will not be allowed to enter the game with a backpack. 5. See Something, Say Something Campaign: Spectators are encouraged to speak out if they see or hear anything suspicious. Staff and security will be available nearby. Please know that these changes are not made lightly. The safety of our students, staff, and community remains our priority. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to make football games and athletics events as safe and secure as possible.
